Description : About 9 miles SE of Ely, on A1123, at Wicken Fen Nature Reserve. Follow brown signs. A small smock windpump, built about 1912. Moved to its present site from Adventurers’ Fen in 1956 by the National Trust. The last surviving wooden windpump in the Fens. Still in use occasionally in summer. Nature reserve. Trails & hides. Visitor centre with shop and light refreshments.
Opening times : all year, daily, when the fen is open. For school parties there is an education officer on site.
