This string of formerly water-powered cotton mills set alongside the River Clyde, restored by the New Lanark Conservation Trust, to show what life was like for 19th century mill workers. A waterwheel has been installed in one of the original locations.
Visitor Centre. Millworker’s House. Shop. Café. Nature reserve 2 miles upstream.
Opening times : daily, throughout year, except Christmas Day & 1st January, 10.00 - 17.00. Parties by arrangement
